AliDropship Toolkit ("the extension") is a browser extension for people who sell products they buy on AliExpress and Alibaba. Everything the extension saves — your products, orders, invoices and settings — stays in your browser on your computer. There is no account and no advertising. Two things are not local, and this policy states both: product links you click are wrapped with our affiliate tag, and anonymous usage counts are sent to our server after you agree. Neither carries your orders, addresses, product titles or browsing history, and the counts can be switched off and deleted at any time.
What the extension reads and keeps
All of the following is stored only in your browser's own storage for this extension (IndexedDB and extension storage) on your device.
| What | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Product facts from AliExpress and Alibaba product pages you open (title, prices, variants, images, shipping options, seller ratings) | When you open such a page; kept only if you save the product to your board | Profit calculator, shipping checker, seller score, product board, watchlist, store product files |
| Prices seen on product pages you open | Each time you open a product page | The watchlist's price history. Prices of products you did not save are deleted after 60 days |
| Your own AliExpress orders: order number, dates, items, amounts, order status, tracking number and tracking events, the destination country | Only after you agree in the extension, when you open your order pages or start a sync | Order list, tracking, reminders before buyer protection ends, invoices and exports for your bookkeeping |
| Your settings, business details for invoices (name, address, tax number, logo) | When you type them | Shown on documents you create |
| A problem log: error codes, the feature and page type, counts and times | When something fails | So you can copy a report and send it to support yourself. It contains no page content, names, addresses or order numbers |
What is never stored
- The recipient's name, street address, phone number or e-mail address of an AliExpress order, and any payment details. Only the destination country is kept.
- Your AliExpress password or session.
- Photos and videos you add to a dispute evidence pack (they stay in the open tab and are gone when you close it).
Customer addresses for order filling
When you use the address tool or the order queue, a customer's shipping address that you paste or bring from your own store's order page is used to fill AliExpress's address form at your click. A pasted address is held in memory only. An address in the order queue is stored encrypted on your device and deleted 48 hours after you mark the order as ordered (orders never started are deleted after the period you choose, 14 days by default).
What leaves your computer
- AliExpress and Alibaba. On their pages that you open, the extension reads what the page shows. It asks those sites for more (shipping to other countries, reviews) only when you use a tool. The seller's ratings are requested when a product page opens, as the page's own "Sold by" box does. When you start a run (order details, "Check now" on the watchlist), the extension opens your own pages one by one in a tab, as you would.
- Exchange rates. A table of currency rates is downloaded from public services (Frankfurter; the currency-api project through jsDelivr or Cloudflare Pages) without cookies. The request does not say which product or currency you look at.
- Links you click. Tracking pages, AliExpress pages, Google Lens (only when you press its button; Google then receives the link of that product photo).
- Affiliate links. When you click a product link on AliExpress, the
extension sends you to that same product through our AliExpress affiliate link. This is
how the extension is paid for. The product, the seller and the price you pay are
unchanged; if AliExpress pays a commission on your purchase, it comes out of
AliExpress's margin, not out of your price. The extension asks
alihelp.xyzfor its own affiliate link settings; that request carries nothing about you or the product. - Anonymous usage counts. After you agree in the extension, it sends
counts to our own server at
shoppingassistant.xyz: that this install is still active (once a day), that an AliExpress product or checkout page was opened and whether it carried our affiliate tag, and that an order was placed. An order is identified only by a one-way hash of its number mixed with your random install id — we cannot turn it back into an AliExpress order number. There is no account: the only identifier is a random id that belongs to this installation. No order numbers, addresses, names, product titles, prices, page addresses or browsing history are sent. You can switch this off in Settings → Privacy, which also asks the server to delete what was already sent for this installation. - Nothing else. No advertising, no advertising or analytics networks, no selling or sharing of data with anyone.
Your controls
- Settings → Privacy shows how much is stored and deletes it by kind (orders, board, queue, invoices, calculator data, caches, problem log, settings) or all at once.
- Settings → Privacy also has the switch for the anonymous usage counts. Switching it off stops them, throws away anything not yet sent, and asks the server to delete this installation's rows. "Delete everything" does the same.
- The extension sends nothing at all until you have agreed to the notice inside it. If what the extension handles changes, the version of that notice is raised and you are shown what changed before anything new is sent.
- Backup and restore are files you create and keep yourself.
- Removing the extension from Chrome deletes everything it stored.
Permissions
The extension asks only for what its features need; each permission is explained in the Chrome Web Store listing. Access to store platforms (Shopify, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop) is optional and requested only when you switch that feature on.
Limited use
The use of information received from the pages you visit is limited to providing the features described above, on your device. It is not sold, not used for advertising, not used to determine creditworthiness, and not read by any person other than you. The only information that reaches us is the anonymous usage counts described above, used solely to see that the extension works and is used; it is not combined with anything else and cannot be traced back to you.
Children
The extension is a business tool and is not directed to children.
Changes to this policy
If the way the extension handles data changes, this page and the notice inside the extension are updated, and the extension asks for your agreement again before saving order data.
